Google Aps Google Office

Since this page is getting so much attention from people searching for "google aps" at the moment, I am updating this post to say that I have posted about Google Aps Premier Edition which has links to the product page and the announcement on the Official Google Blog
Google has made a more determined entry into the Office2.0 space with Google Aps for Your Domain.
Google Apps for Your Domain lets you offer our communication and collaboration tools to your entire organization — customizable with your branding, color scheme and content through the administrative control panel, and with no hardware or software to install or maintain.
Its got Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar and Google Page Creator. The offering will be much stronger when Google adds Writely and Spreadsheets. While initially free and supported by ads, Google will eventually offer a paid version.
Having seen at first hand the pain and expense that very small companies sometimes have to endure installing and maintaining Office and Exchange, I expect this kind of offering to be very attractive.
Google is not the only one in this space though. I've personally been experimenting a little with some of Zoho's applications and have been quite impressed with what I've seen.
